Republic of Syria renewed their request to the District Court for the District of Columbia to allow them to enforce the over $800 million judgment against Syria. Plaintiffs eventually were able to serve Syria via diplomatic channels, but the Court was not satisfied with their efforts to serve Syria via mail. Plaintiff renewed their request after trying to effect service through all courier and international mail services.
